Founder & CEO, Kiehl Northwest
Jake Kiehl became interested in computer programming at age 14 and used self-taught learning to qualify as an intern with a state government agency three years later. He was hired full time as soon as he graduated. Before founding his company, Kiehl Northwest, Jake was working full time on software projects while also instructing software development classes at Pierce Community College.
Jake founded Kiehl Northwest in 2007 and has since built his company to provide software for industries such as transportation, social services, education, healthcare, and employment benefits throughout the private
and public sectors. Jake was honored in South Sound Business “40 Under Forty” for his outstanding work in custom software development.
Today, Jake is excited about partnering with clients allowing them to spend more time doing what they love – focusing on meeting their core business needs through the use of technology.
